Raul Jaime
A native of Mexico, Raul lived in Calgary for over 7 years and he attended the University of Calgary where he obtained a degree in Political Science. He was also a student athlete with the Dinos Football Club. After obtaining his Master’s degree in International Relations under a full scholarship in Spain, Raul returned to Mexico where he worked for the Canadian Consulate in Puerto Vallarta. It was here where he learned about the most common problems faced by Canadians when they visit Mexico, but most importantly he learned how to solve these problems. Raul was also actively involved in the Real Estate industry and obtained the highest certification available in Mexico. His experience in Real Estate spreads over various different parts of the country, as he was involved in transactions that took place in several different cities. Raul brings to San Angel Closers his knowledge of the Mexican Real Estate Industry and also his experience as a Consular Agent. His multicultural nature and understanding of both Canadian and Mexican business systems allow him to overcome any barriers that may arise during a transaction that involves such diverse parties.
Don Muth
From a fold-out table in his basement to becoming one of Edmonton’s largest electrical contractors, Don Muth and Muth Electrical have always strived for excellence. San Angel Closers is also aware of the implications for Canadians to carry out transactions in a foreign currency, as Real Estate in Mexico is often traded in either American Dollars or Mexican Pesos. For this reason, we can also access the assistance of an internationally recognized Foreign Exchange Expert that not only offers competitive exchange rates, but can also freeze a current exchange rate for extended periods of time so you are not affected by currency fluctuations.
FINANCIAL
As a foreigner, you are required to set up a Bank Trust in order to own Real Estate in Mexico. In order to assure that our clients receive the highest quality service throughout the incorporation of the Trust or Fideicomiso, San Angel Closers is in constant communication with and has direct access to key people within the Trust departments of the most reputable and experienced Mexican Banks.
